Southern California's Food 4 Less Employees overwhelmingly voted to ratify the new agreement. All seven Southern California United Food and Commercial Workers Unions recommended that Food 4 Less workers ratify the new four-year deal that will be valid through June 5, 2011. This contract is a huge victory for Food 4 Less workers. From the beginning we set very clear goals that we wanted to eliminate the unfair two-tier wage structure. We wanted wage increases for all Employees. And, we wanted to improve the eligibility and benefits of the health care coverage that our members receive.
UFCW Local 1167 would like to thank our membership for staying strong & united. You deserved a good contract and got one! We could not have achieved our goals without your support.
Thank you!
